Over the past couple of weeks, here at MTH we have been working extra hard to film demonstrations of different pieces of equipment and tools available to hire.
Here are a few stills of yesterdays masterpiece! We used a circular disc cutter...
...we almost lost John in all the dust!
When the outline was made we used a medium duty breaker...
and a HEAVY duty breaker when the going got tough.
We used a plate compacter (sometimes referred to as a Wacker) to squash the ground down underneath.
A nice neat hole in the ground.
We will be filling it back in again, and I am going to put together a how-to in more detail, as well as all the little film clips demonstrating each tool and it's job.

Oh yeah, I couldn't resist a little go with the breaker. Under careful observation mind, don't try this at home kids!
